Business Cooperation Centre
The Business Cooperation Centre was established in response to the dynamically changing labour market and the expectations of the business environment.
The Centre’s main tasks involve coordinating the cooperation between Wroclaw University of Economics and Business and its socio-economic environment.


In particular, the Centre is responsible for:
- Researching the needs and expectations of entities within the socio-economic environment.
- Graduate Career Monitoring.
- Stimulating long-term cooperation with the University’s partners, as well as initiating and developing such relations.
- Coordinating the flow of information between the socio-economic environment and the University’s organisational units, ensuring professional service throughout the process.
- Acting as an intermediary in establishing contacts between students, the University, employers, and labour market institutions, including internships, jobs, and traineeships.
- Coordinating the process of engaging distinguished alumni in various forms of academic and professional career development for the most talented students.
- Implementing development projects and programmes in cooperation with business, including consulting on the University’s proposed curricula and increasing practitioners’ involvement in the teaching process.
- Organising seminars and conferences at the university–business interface to exchange experiences and promote the University’s achievements.
- Taking actions to strengthen relations with entrepreneurs.
The Centre consists of the Career Office and the Socio-Economic Relations Service Section.
Career Office – key tasks include:
- Supporting students and graduates through career counselling, career coaching, and therapeutic consulting.
- Assessing students’ and graduates’ competencies using standardised tools.
- Organising and delivering training sessions and workshops for UEW students and graduates in cooperation with employers.
- Implementing development programmes with employer participation (e.g. Mentoring) and projects funded from external sources.
- Analysing professional career development paths.
- Cooperating with UEW student organisations, scientific circles, and the Lower Silesian Career Offices Network.


Socio-Economic Relations Service Section – key tasks include:
- Publishing job, internship, and traineeship offers through available communication channels.
- Coordinating the availability of on-campus promotional spaces for companies (posters, stands, etc.).
- Promoting companies, institutions, and organisations that cooperate with the Centre under partnership agreements.
- Running employer branding campaigns such as Open Days.
- Preparing the Employer Catalogue.
- Organising Job Fairs.
- Hosting business meetings between company representatives and University staff.
- Collecting and storing information on projects carried out at UEW with socio-economic institutions.
- Gathering information on projects implemented by UEW organisational units in cooperation with socio-economic institutions.
- Creating and maintaining a database of socio-economic partners cooperating with the University.
- Implementing projects funded from external (commercial) sources in cooperation with socio-economic partners.
- Supporting the commercialisation of University services.
