GDPR Information Clause

Dear Sir or Madam,

In connection with the entry into force on May 25, 2018, of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), we provide the following information regarding the processing of your personal data:

  2. The Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted at [email protected];
  3. The personal data provided will be processed for the purpose of delivering services and activities by the Wroclaw University of Economics Business Cooperation Center, operating under Rector’s Order No. 57/2018 of July 23, 2018, concerning the establishment of the Business Cooperation Center at the Wroclaw University of Economics, and for the implementation of projects co-financed from external funds;
  4. The categories of personal data processed include, among others, first and last name, position/function, phone number, e-mail address, name of entity/place of employment, address, and data dedicated to the specific process/service/project;
  5. Recipients of your personal data will be: employees of the Business Cooperation Center, Faculty Authorities, the Rector and Vice-Rectors, along with their subordinate units;
  6. Your data will not be transferred to any third country or international organization;
  7. Your personal data will be stored until the termination of cooperation within the implemented collaborations is reported;
  8. You have the right to access your data and to request rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;
  9. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for personal data protection, which is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the Act of May 10, 2018, on the protection of personal data (consolidated text, Journal of Laws 2018, item 1000) or the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation);
  10. No decisions will be made based solely on automated processing, including profiling;
  11. Failure to provide consent to the processing of personal data will prevent you from using the services and activities of the Business Cooperation Center at Wroclaw University of Economics and will prevent participation in projects co-financed from external funds;
  12. Providing your personal data is voluntary.
